Captivating Cover Design for Thrilling Action Adventure Novel

Action Adventure fiction, touches of science fiction created for Young Adult to Adult audiences

I am looking for a captivating cover for the release of my new action adventure novel Kings and Pawns. Will need artwork for both a paperback copy as well as a digital e-book edition, sizing guidelines are included below.

Set in the year 2083 in a world entirely controlled by a few mega corporations, the story follows the main character, 23 year old Alex Klein, as he searches for a life that he is proud of. Ultimately his risks payoff and Alex finds himself as a competitor in the futuristic sport, Breakers Unlimited which is the most popular form of entertainment worldwide.
Uniting with his teammates, Alex and his new friends discover how similar all of their circumstances are and become resentful towards the corporation’s complete control over the entire population’s everyday existence.
Using their position of athletes with a large audience, the team seeks out to reveal their contempt towards the company. Challenging the authority of a superpower is not without great personal risk, but if the team can successfully spread their message just maybe they can ultimately ignite dissention through the territory.

One idea I have for the cover is the outline of the 2 main characters, a male and a female, both tall with lean/athletic builds, wearing their Breakers Unlimited competition suits which are a full length, form fitting body suit that is dark but gives off a blue glow (not too bright). She has shoulder length brown hair while he has short blond hair. They can be holding hands (they do become lovers) or not. With their backs to us they can be facing off against the image of a bright cityscape (futuristic San Francisco) where there are many modern buildings all constructed with bright glass exteriors.

This is only one idea though and I welcome any and all submissions that can surprise me with a neat new concept. This is a quick paced action adventure story the deals in sport, politics, love, self-discovery and sacrifice and I am looking for something that can best represent these themes. One thing I am not looking for is images with chess pieces despite the title.
