If you design a cover that can stand out when looking at a hundred thumbnails of book covers on Amazon.com, you win this contest!
The cover should illustrate a blockbuster movie theme (think Star Wars and Superheroes!) and if possible also illustrate world travel from a life working on blockbuster movies around the globe. The cover needs to showcase two concepts: BLOCKBUSTER MOVIES! and WORLD TRAVEL!
NOTE: Think "State-of-the-Art" of digital visual effects, rather than "old Hollywood" film icons for this cover. The cover should showcase the future of movies, as the book is about the latest in film making techniques.
The name of the book is A BLOCKBUSTER LIFE! with a subtitle of THE HOT NEW JOB IN HOLLYWOOD. This book tells two stories - 1. The true story of a life working in visual effects on blockbuster and superhero movies and the hot new job in Hollywood, Previsualization. 2. The book is also a travel book, the author tells of his travels for each movie, from cities around the world including Sydney, Australia and U.S. cities such as New Orleans, Charlotte, NC, South Bay Los Angeles and North Bay San Francisco.
NEW NOTE: Please avoid things like film reel and "old Hollywood" icons, since the book is about state-of-the-art digital visual effects. Movie theater icons are still good, since movie theaters still look as they did for years, but the goal of the cover is to showcase the latest in film making technology. Think of it as "the future of movies"!
