Mabel Hartley is 14 and fearless and she needs your help to jump onto a YA ebook cover.

I am a YA fiction author and publisher. My product is a series of ebooks and my character is Mabel Hartley. The first title is "Mabel Hartley and the Sapphire Moon." My target audience is girls 10-12 years old.

I want a Kindle ebook color cover for an adventure series using illustration not photography. I need JPEG or TIFF file with a height to width ratio of 1.6. For best quality it should be 1563x2500 pixels.
I have attached images to help you get a sense of what the characters look like but only Mabel needs to be close to the photo. I'd like the title on a red banner about 1/4 of the top page. And the words Mabel Hartley in all caps and the Sapphire Moon underneath. All in Blue. The Sapphire Moon part could be in a font that is like handwriting with my name under the banner.
I would like the perspective of the illustration to be from above, close up to the characters faces. Mabel leading, Tabby and Hugh following as they walk across the top of the boarding school castle roof stealthily. Mabel must have very short thick afro-type curly blond hair, Tabby longer red hair and Hugh tall and short blond hair.
This story is set in the 1980s UK. I would like a flag pole flying the Union Jack above the school and maybe for Mabel to be wearing a union Jack flag baseball cap and for the whole cover to have a retro kind of feel. Only half of the front castle I attached needs to be in the story. I want it to be grand but not too grand.
The creative freedom for the illustrator would be bringing Mabel's face to life and drawing a great cover with all these elements.

In this story the characters find Marc Chagall paintings hidden on the estate and in the next one they find Bronze Age treasure and the third one it's Crusaders coins. They are Indiana jones type kids who break a lot of rules and travel around the world. They are 14 years old and finding out who they are and solving centuries old mysteries while they're at it. I would like the characters faces to be consistent across all the book covers in the series. But let's just start with the first one for now. I hope to get the second one up in 2014/2015. It is also finished and I am now researching the 3rd story.
