The project is called Robot Santa. It is the first book in a series
aimed at kids 8 to 12 years old.
The font is going to be branding this series. I think the right font,
properly sized (e.g., bigger for ebook), is one of the most important
parts of the front cover. It must be spot on. I think a cursive font
would work best, but I'm definitely willing to see others.
TITLE: Robot Santa (on top of page, large)
Author Name: Steve Cochran II (Forget the roman numeral two and my dad
gets credit. Nobody wants that.)
What I Think I Need:
***A robot in a Santa costume against a solid color background. I've
picturing just a robot head, with the hat on, against a red
background. These are the descriptions in the book. It is just a
humanoid looking robot, Silver, in a Santa costume. He's breaking
down so he is dirty***
MOST LIKELY IT IS GOING TO HAVE BE BETTER THAN JUST CLIP ART.
"...There was no long white beard or hair. No milky white skin.
Instead, the hands and face sticking out of the Santa costume were
"It was like nothing she had ever seen before. He was nearly six feet
tall and almost as wide as the tree."
As long as you're within that vague description, I don't see how we
can go wrong. Give me Robot Santa from Futurama and we might have to
fight. Fine, no fighting, but seriously, it has to be different than
BE CREATIVE : I never described what his face looks like. I might even
go back in on the last sweep through the book, and feel the need to
put more description in based on the art.
I need the e-book for Amazon and print version for Create Space.
