UPDATE: 1) I seem most intrigued by black or otherwise dark backgrounds. 2) I am open to innovative interpretations of the logo (which itself is more than ten years old).
I suppose we should probably maintain at least a semblance of the company colors, though the brownish-burgundy shade is not my favorite. I am open to a reinterpretation of the color scheme. I tend to prefer dark cards, and I have seen some black ones that are stunning. I am open to bold contrasts of bright and playful colors on a black (or deep red/burgundy) background, if departing from the routine design and our company color scheme.
I am very fond of the spot UV style and also open to other ideas for the printing stage (letterpress, embossing, etc.) that will help the card look nice and thoughtfully designed. (I have no expertise in this matter, however.)
I uploaded our main logo here, but you can see some of our collateral designs, and several of our logos, at this Dropbox folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3li6s8ts…yXzJa?dl=0
I am open to innovative or "deconstructive" ideas for using the logo.
I am also open to something with a tonal world map in the background, since our organization does operate in 50 countries on six continents, but I also enjoy sleek and elegant designs that are more on the minimalistic side.
My preference would be for a final design that I could use as a template for members of our staff, if that is possible.
