HUGGZILLA
Our product is a mobile sound stage used at festivals such as Burning Man. The target audience are music festival goers, EDM lovers and ART enthusiasts.
We are converting a 39ft long school bus in to a sound stage that looks like a bear. We are short on time to finish this project so the time is of essence.
PLEASE USE YOUR IMAGINATION!!!!
The main criteria for the project are:
It has to look like a BEAR! We are open to all ideas, ANY style of design will be considered, Eastern, Modern, HiTech, Robotic, Asian - use your creativity!
The final product has to look good during the day and the night. So at night we have to use a lot of lights (LED, neon, spotlights, etc.). Maybe you should keep this in mind but maybe we can think about it later?
Maybe this is not important for the illustration but maybe you should know that the bear has to be easy build/disassembled and carried on the spot.
The bear paws/legs have to cover the wheels (rules at Burning Man are that the wheels of the vehicle cannot be visible)
Platform on the top for the DJ, the crew and our guests (DJ will be on the left side of the bus and not on the back like shown in some images). The railing of the stage can be perhaps made in some interesting way?
Stairs to the top are located on the right side of the bus only.
We need to think of the space allocated for the sound system on the left side where the DJ booth is located. Photo attached. We have some space to move those top speakers.
We do not know what material we are going to use to build it, this is going to be determined once we have the illustration that we like.
As you can tell we have tried creating the geometric bear head using our logo, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THAT since this might limit your creativity.
We are looking for the illustration first and then we will have to create 3D render so if you have both skills or you know someone that can help with the next step please let me know.
I have the Google Sketchup file for the 3D render seen on one of the images, if that can be of any help, probably not.
Think "Mad Max" perhaps?
