After 10 years of hard design grinding you are now the CEO of the largest design company in the world.
You have just sat down behind the desk of the greatest office the world has ever known - naturally one that you designed yourself being as you are the best designer on the planet. Some things just shouldn't be delegated. Needless to say you designed this inner sanctum and the building it's in yourself from scratch and money was no more than a trivial consideration.
Draw me that office.
Some requirements. The perspective must be from the CEO's chair, don't draw from behind the chair, you might include arm rests in the very foreground. I need a POV as if the viewer is sitting in that chair surveying their domain.
I would prefer a modern feel but beyond that I won't get in the way of your vision.
This illustration will become the backdrop for an app we are developing and certain items will become hotspot objects in the program build.
Required objects to be within the picture-
In the foreground - the desktop surface, there'll be a number of items on it so make it big and use a perspective that lets you identify the objects on it.
- A computer or laptop
- a hands free phone or commander system with a visual indictor if there's a call (like a screen or light up button)
- a group of folders or binder or other place for files - people are pitching things all day long at you and you have some of these unsolicited offerings on your desk
The room itself needs certain items
- A huge plasma screen tv
- A fantastic window view (with a view I can edit later)
- A stunning wall unit or display for the many design awards that are sure to flock in.
If you want to put in fire places or ceiling to floor fish tanks, grand pianos, fine sculptures or anything else you deem necessary for your inner shrine go for it, but at the end of day we need to be able to see and identify those required items above. Don't let those key elements get lost among the opulent splendour.
Format can be anywhere from realistic to flat illustration or even cartoonified (if you can make a cartoon desirable) but the app will put the person in that chair and they really be happy and impressed that this is now theirs.
can you use a format that scales down to 960 x 480 at 326 pip. If you have to go larger to fulfil your vision, which is entirely possible, just maintain that ratio.
As always, have fun otherwise it's just work. I would hope there's further 1 to 1 work downstream but for now lets just see the vision! Show me your dream office!
