Artwork

In terms of artwork we’re not looking for something too literal, but it should focus on the idea of a “playful day out.” We’re open to all ideas for how this could be interpreted, but off the top of our head a couple of concepts include:

1. Open topped car winding through a slightly ’trippy’ scene (think ‘acid Disney’).
2. A play on the Mad Hatter’s Ball meets the Wizard of Oz (journey down the yellow brick road).

We feel that bold colour will be key: whether from a single palette or a mix of contrasts.

Image execution style

We are seeking an image in a hand-drawn style - i.e. we are NOT looking for photo based or computer generated artwork. The image should convey a sense of bespoke, artisan skill - un-rushed, confident, stylish and classy. Please see our recent releases to get a greater appreciation of what we're after. The illustration needs to work both in large (full, retina screen) and thumbnails views.

At this stage we’re looking for the best concept, not the most polished execution. Do listen to the tracks and review the keywords and create something that capture the essence of this album.

We require the artwork as 2880x2880px image at 72ppi for online use. Attached is a PSD template (and reference .png) showing the placement of the Big Screen Music logo, title and keywords [box] - please use this for reference only when constructing the image. Note: the final image, required image should NOT contain any text or branding but must work well with the fixed placement of the branding and descriptive assets.
