DaMamma ( at Mama's place) is a new Bistro that openend on March 25th 2013. Despite the modest size of the Bistro it got amazing print coverage (regional and national) thanks to an innovative concept and amazing product offering... and the moving story of the owner. Besides the fresh pasta main dishes, the Bistro offers also very good Sicilian pastries, home made ice cream and the best coffee in town ( quoting the city's major :-) ). The person behind this Bistro is the owner ( la mamma = the mama). She is a very strong woman, that decided to open her own company at the age of 60, after a 2 years of unemployment period. When you loose your job at 58, it is almost impossible to find a new job - so what can you do? Either you get depressed ........or you decide to re-invent yourself in something completely new and different. La mamma chose the latter one and took all her saving to start this new adventure. Do you want to help her in creating an illustration of her?
