Currently in pre-startup, Peggy Recruitment aims to provide permanent and temporary sales and customer service personnel to developers, housebuilders and estate agents in the property industry, with an initial focus on new homes.
Our aim is not only to provide a fast and effective matching service for clients and experienced candidates but also to broaden the candidate search by helping those with transferable skills to gain the knowledge and confidence to work in property sales and service. These would include people already engaged in sales and customer service in other industries such as airline ex-cabin crew, retail and leisure. We are also looking to assist parents looking for flexible working arrangements and older people with valuable experience who may be keen to continue working in later life.
Along with becoming a trusted source of good candidates we aim to to provide additional services to both client and candidate. Industry specific training in presentation, sales, sales progression and customer property completions for candidates hoping to enter the property market, along with bespoke training and mystery shopping services for clients.
New Homes Candidates: Our target customers are those already working in new homes that may be coming to the end of a scheme and need to move to a new development. This person may also be looking to move up the career ladder into a different role that current company cannot provide.
New Homes Candidates: These people may not have worked in property before but have the skill set that would suit a sales and customer facing role, such as airline crew, hospitality, leisure and the arts.
New Homes Candidates: For temporary positions in new homes, these people could be parents, semi retired or looking to try working in property without committing 100%.
Real Estate Agency Candidates: The client is looking for confident, well rounded sales people that can work on their own and be part of a team. These could be candidates that have very little experience but may have studied a property related degree and will start as a trainee. Others may have experience and proven track record for sales in a different domain, but can transfer across but need domain knowledge.
New Home Clients: The client could be a private developer or housing association looking for sales negotiators to manage an in-house sales and marketing suite on site at a scheme and will look for permanent candidates with new homes experience or a track record in high customer service skills/sales skills including estate agency experience.
New Home Clients: This client could be a property company such as Savills or Knight Frank (in fact most mid sized estate agencies have a new homes sector) that manage the sales and marketing process from end to end. The candidates are employed and report directly to the agent and the agent is the customer to the developer.
New Home Clients: The client will usually need at short notice temporary personnel for either holiday or sickness cover. They also require additional personnel for marketing events.
Real Estate Agency Client: Usually only employ permanent personnel and will expect the candidates to have had some experience, track record or have a property related degree. They tend to have a high turnover due to the demands of the role and training is only usually offered once the candidate has been with the company for at least 12 months.
Real Estate Agency Client: This client will be looking for both candidates with either experience of new home selling, pre-owned properties or both.
