Aquistore is a project where carbon dioxide (CO2), a greenhouse gas, is captured from the stack of an oil refinery and transported by underground pipeline to a site where it is injected into a deep geological formation.
As one of the first large-scale projects of its kind anywhere, Aquistore will be very important for providing similar projects with the know-how to make it happen.
Very wide: the general public, which may have questions about the project, potential companies that may be interested in joining the international consortium, international research groups and agencies conducting research into carbon capture and storage
The logo should present a unique identifier that can be used by itself, or one that employs the word “Aquistore”, or a combination of both.
The logo should in some way reflect the safety and security of this storage site, and the important, cutting-edge nature of this project.
Please include the following files in the final deliverable:
o Print file format – .ai
o Web file format – .jpg and layered .psd
o Other high definition formats you feel would be useful
What to avoid:
Uses of blues, and water-like images.
Perceptions that the storage space is a cave, or unoccupied space, or a circular formation where liquid or vapours collect are also not correct and to be avoided. Injection will be into a rock formation 1.5 miles deep containing pores, but no “vacant storage space” exists.
