Black Pepper Group
Black Pepper Group helps business owners in Canada apply for tax incentives that fuel research, growth and profit recovery.
We specialize in preparing and managing Canadian SR&ED (Scientific Research and Experimental Development) tax credits, and other government grants and credits that support innovation or the development of digital media products.
We are strategic thinkers and writers who work closely with emerging and established companies to document and explain the challenges they face when innovating and creating new products or services that require scientific or technological advancement.
We draw from an extensive 20 year background in high technology, manufacturing, small business, self-employment and finance to work with clients to define, describe, structure and account for the eligible costs of their research related activities or digital media projects.
We explain difficult technical subjects in a way that the government can understand and decide to grant assistance in the form of a tax credit.
Our typical clients are small business owners, predominantly in technology startups for software and hardware but we are also highly involved in printing, manufacturing and commercial food production. Our target customer is a business owner with 5-50 employees and a payroll in excess of $150,000 annually.
Our goal is to find each client a form of government incentive that can result in at least a $50,000 refundable tax credit getting into their hands.
This logo will be used on business cards, email signatures, invoices etc and will be used as a header in the company web site. It should also transition well to a t-shirt or corporate gift like a coffee mug or pepper mill.
Core to the image should be a visual play on the black pepper concept. Designs should emphasize either/or black peppercorns or a traditional pepper mill and be simple, minimal representations of the image that will scale well.
