We export frozen French Fries and frozen Vegetables to the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia. We deal with an international audience.
We want to come up with a brand name & logo that works for French Fries and for Vegetables, keeping in mind our global customer base.
We are developing our own private label to ship frozen French Fries and Vegetables under, so we need to create a Brand Name & Logo for this label. We will use the name and logo on every package of frozen fries and vegetables we ship. This will be the primary way customers come in contact with the name and logo.
We do not advertise in any medium and our products are not sold in retail markets. So the only time people/customers will see our brand name & logo will be when they recieve their cargo. At most, a perspective customer will be sent a picture of the packaging before they place an order.
Purchases of our product are not decided by appearance because our products do not sit on store shelves. Customers decide to buy our product versus a competitor's product based on price, However, because this is essentially a price driven, commodity type market, it is important to distinguish yourself from the heard. Because in the case where all things are equal, then the appearance and the name and the look of the packaging WILL be the tie breaker. And in places where English is not the primary language, a good graphic/logo can be used to identify/request a certain brand.
The products will all come in 5.5 pound plastic packages. Most of our products go into the food service industry overseas. They are sold to Hotels, catering companies, restaurants, and other institutions that prepare large quantities of food. Very few, if any, of our products get into the retail market, like supermarkets for instance.
However, it is still important to have a very appealing brand name. Especially because many of our clients, and many of our clients' customers do not speak English as a first language. So a clear, memorable, and descriptive name is a big advantage in our industry. The logo must also be appealing and memorable so that non-English speakers can ask for it by describing the packaging instead of having to say the name.
