I'm a developer doing a number of different websites in danish.
When creating projects here at 99designs, I look at incoming suggestions during the day and promise feedback on all submissions.
My target audience are danish people who either wants to sell or buy used and/or new Lego bricks. The typical user is most likely Average Joe (both male and female), who uses the internet, but don't have deep tech knowledge.
My site is called Bricksales.dk. The purpose of the site is to let users either create ads containing used og new Lego bricks (as well as complete sets). Or users wanting to buy used og new Lego bricks.
The page is a simple trading site, where a user logs in and creates an ad containing name, description, price, pictures etc. of the Lego he/she wants to sell. The buyers searches for keywords at the site. Each ad is marked with a price and contact information. If the potential buyer wants to buy the Lego, he/she simply calls the seller at the phone number specified or sends an email and the two parts agree on the rest from here. After this step, the seller removes the ad. Very simple, but powerfull.
I would like some sort of Lego brick to be a part of the logo. Somewhere on the logo, the following text should be included: "køb og salg af brugte og nye klodser" (translated: "buy and sell used and new bricks").
Note that using the name Lego and the red Lego logo is not permitted.
UPDATE: After doing a bit more thinking, I would like to see some proposals with a "toyish" look. My audience are both adults and children, and I think that the webdesign will be toyish looking as well. Not misunderstand me, the logo should still look professional, but my audience are not businesses.
