I envision the font to be something like the ones shown below with maybe the Finite Element in a combination of Red and Black. And then the logo to to incorporate the color Red, White & Black in the logo. I really like the concept of dissolved flake pieces as Finite Element is derived from Finite Element Analysis. I'm totally open to any also, if it's simple but straight to the point for anyone to figure out it has to associate with "Design, Motorsports, Engineering, Cars, or Racing". So, a cool looking motor part, a turbo, or fancy modern car gauge or anything that speaks to people that the company i'm doing is a design house for car parts used for motorsports. I have attached the type of cars my company is making parts for. Mostly GT style type of cars with GT wings and Canards, aero-focused. I have also attached a picture of a rainbow color of stress analysis of a piston using CAD, not sure i like the color of rainbow, but it does represents the Engineering aspect of design (FEA - Finite Element Analysis /CFD - Computational Fluid Analysis). So it's optional if you could incorporate it in the design it could make my company logo more distinctive than most motorsports logo. Otherwise if it's too tacky, don't worry about it.
I have attached a picture of what a Canard is, it's the white/carbon fiber piece in the front bumper, it has a pretty unique shape, perhaps that could be used as a logo if it works. Just an idea.
As for the attached different examples of logos, the red/black I was just thinking those fonts stood out to me. The attached sample logos describe has somewhat of the idea, however the quality of the logo is low and tacky. I prefer the quality of the designs from your website.
Good luck, please feel free to ask me if there's questions.
