My name is Tracey. My 7 year old daughter, Tess passed away due to complications of Cystic Fibrosis. Tess loved butterflies and in her honor a beautiful butterfly garden was created. The garden is located on the school grounds and provides a special place for the children to explore and discover the wonders of nature. The children have several opportunites to use the garden - today students were reading among the flowers, butterflies and birds. Many times the students have art class in the garden or lunch. This garden isn't a memorial garden - it's definitely not a sad place – often time you can hear the giggles of the children as they explore and discover nature.

Recently the elementary school promoted a "name the garden" contest. Overwhelmingly the students voted on the name the Butterfly House. Now that the garden has an offical name we would like to have a sign posted to welcome visitors and also state the meaning behind the gardens creation.
I am looking for a FUN design that incorporates a caterpillar, butterfly, bird and flower. Maybe these items could be surrounding the name or throughout the letters of the words.
The elementary school has children ranging in ages from 3 years to 10.
The community also uses the butterfly garden. Many neighbors walk along the rock paths looking among the flowers trying to find a butterfly.
Although most everyone is familiar with the butterfly garden – new comers to the school or community don’t realize its significance. I am hoping that through your creative designs we will find a design that “fits” the new name of the garden and people will forever know its name and importance.
