We are Chroma Room, a new photo and film studio studio based in Miami, Florida - one of the most beautiful and fashionable cities in the United States. Our goal is to provide local, regional, national and international photographers, film makers and creative people with an affordable, well designed and flexible studio space. Our 2,200 sq ft converted warehouse includes a workshop for custom props, a 24' x 16' white cyc (a.k.a infinity wall), dressing rooms, a production/post-production studio and a client waiting area.
We are a young, energetic and customer oriented studio looking for a minimal, clean, and contemporary image that is attractive and approachable. We seek inspiration from all corners of the world, all media, and all truly respect all things creative.
Our space is outfitted with contemporary furniture from Herman Miller, DWR, Crate and Barrel, and IKEA alike. The overarching color scheme within our studio includes white (dominant color), grays (light and dark), black and silver/chrome, with a hint of color here and there provided by the plants, products, and people that populate the space.
Our goal is to develop an identity that reflects who we are, creates an emotional connection with what we do, and attracts current and potential clients.
Local, regional, national and international photographers, film makers, production companies and creative people in need of space for casting calls, rehearsals, photo shoots, film shoots and events.
Our clients range from up and coming photographers and film makers, to established and respected fashion photographers, photo journalists, film directors, film crews, videographers, documentary/independent film makers, musicians, and artists.
Our audience is very creative, fun, quirky yet professional.
A clean, contemporary and timeless identity.
Must be equally successful in black/white, gray scale, and color against a white, black or color background as needed.
Must be equally effective on the web (studio website, banner ads, email marketing) and across print media (magazines, exterior banners, signage, etc.).
We envision either a minimal, hard lined, sans serif font, or a contemporary handwritten/script font, but we are open to your suggestions.
Considering the name of the studio (Chroma Room - Chroma means "color" in greek and our clients also shoot against chroma green or blue backgrounds), we would like to see creative options that use color within the context of the identity and color as an accent. Feel free to take inspiration from anything from a color wheel/color chart to the reflections in a camera lens.
Identities We Identify With
Unfortunately, we haven't come across any examples in our industry - we hope to be the one that others follow and imitate. Here are a few inspirational images: http://chromaroom.com/identity/.
