Four94

We are a technology company looking to create a logo for our software as a service service division. The story behind the name is that the company was started by four people and the road connecting all of our remote staff is Chicago's i-94.

Our focus is to create very SIMPLE and useful business software for small to medium-sized businesses on a variety of platforms (web, desktop, mobile).

Four94 wants a logo that will be the cornerstone of our branding effort. It will be used on our website, business cards, stationary and other business related materials. If logo is chosen, we will give further consideration for creation of other materials. We will likely need icons/logos for our products in the near future as well.

Our competitors will be companies such as http://37signals.com and http://www.huddle.net, so we need something that stands out from them.

We would like the logo to be a combination of text and symbol. Although the symbol COULD be created from any of the text. It would be nice to be able to use the symbol as a standalone image if we wanted and still have it distincively represent our brand.

Our target customers are small to medium-sized business looking to improve their business processes through affordable, easy to use systems.

We will need the logo to be in vector format, as well as a large size, high detail PNG and the original PSD (if done in Photoshop). A CMYK image in either PDF, EPS, SVG, Corel Draw CDR, or Adobe Illustrator AI format. Any associated fonts.

We will need it to have a transparent background.

Ideally we would like the logo to use two complimentary colors in some fashion whether it's used in the text or in the symbol.

Feel free to use any font and combination of lowercase and capitalization as long as the four is spelled out and 94 stays numeric.
