About our company:
We make custom acrylic enclosures for exotic plants and animals. These enclosures (aka, vivariums) were designed by our founders, Seth and Rachel Hiser, to be able to emulate nature so that it is easier to give captive animals (like endangered poison dart frogs being bred for conservation) and exotic plants (such as orchids, which are notoriously difficult to keep alive in North America) an environment as close as possible to their natural habitat. All enclosures are custom manufactured in our own facilities in the USA.
By being able to control environmental factors, such as humidity, temperature, air movement, and water movement, the vivariums we create are essentially miniature greenhouses. This emulation of natural environments on a small scale actively mitigates disease and parasites, improves plant and animal quality of life and longevity, allows animals to breed more reliably and have healthier offspring, and means that people can enjoy these plants and animals longer.
However, our goal is to provide enclosures that are not only highly functional and technologically advanced, but are also modern, beautiful display pieces that people are proud to show off in their homes and businesses.
About our customers:
Our products, designed to be higher-end and technologically advanced in an emerging market, appeal to private collectors, breeders, and researchers. Businesses, such as doctors’ offices and hospitals, may choose plant-only displays. While zoos and conservationists are looking for attractive, secure display pieces used for both research and education. But, we also have many retail customers who are entering this emerging market as hobbyists, such as dart frog enthusiasts who keep these animals as pets. The age range is broad: purchasers are usually over age 30 and generally have at least some college education. While our primary market is the United States of America, we have received much interest abroad, including Canada, the UK, Europe, and Australia.
