HONDEAUX (pronounced HON-DOES) is essentially a very casual 2,000-4,000 sq. ft. restaurant and bar that will seat up to 150 people. Food will be delivered full service. The menu is made up of Bayou and TX Bohemian favorites including, NEW Boho- Boy sandwiches, chicken, shrimp, sausage, fish of the day, catfish, gumbo, salads, fried items, and our revolutionary new Boho tacos! HONDEAUX will have a bar, drink specials, a daily gumbo and greens (salad bar), wine, and have 6 different kinds of local Texas beer favorites on tap. For the non Bayou/Cajun Gators we can offer our Boho Seasoning instead of our Bayou seasoning. This project is ideally suited for Temple, Texas as a way to significantly expand/upgrade the Temple F&B offerings to Bell County since there isn’t a casual spice infused restaurant within 30 minutes from downtown Temple.
In 1840 a free thinking gator decided to leave the Bayou in search of fresh bait and cool water. The Gator found himself in the great Republic of Texas. The gator soon became westernized to the Texas Culture but he did not forget about his favorite swamps and bayou foods. After 173 years he is finally ready to invite all of his gator friends to come and celebrate at HONDEAUX.
Our color scheme is going to be a Black ceiling, with cream/tan walls, and olive trim
