NavPoint Consulting Group Inc. is a Management and IT Consulting company (based in Canada) who provide subcontracting talent to help clients through the journey of starting, delivering and closing out big, multi-year projects.
We already have a brand, business cards, some marketing material and a website. Please see http://www.navpoint.ca and the uploaded materials (logo, bus cards, stationary etc) we use today.
What do we want? In short we want to revisit, crystalize and standardize our brand and logo. Why? We are interested in redesigning and relaunching our website. We also expect to develop signage, make more use of social media, use our new brand and logo in emails, pins, mugs, at team building events etc. Since we plan to do these things we thought it might make sense to finalize our go forward brand and logo. We need your creativity and expertise to evolve and finalize our brand.
Current brand history: NavPoint is short for "navigation point". We believe our clients need to know where they want to go before they can get there. Once we help them define what success is for them we can help navigate them there. Hence the play on words - NavPoint. The lighthouse is part of our brand/ strategy because it is a symbol of hope, safe, trusted, information and is historically something that helps navigators stay out of trouble and get safely to where they want to be. Our clients are often leaders of business or large teams who need to lead (navigate) their companies, government departments or large teams to a desirable outcome (build a new IT system, transform their business operations etc).
Ideally our branding and logo would translate to credibility, trusted, experienced professionals who not only are excellent at their profession but are there to make the client successful (as they define success). Our clients hire us because they care about what they do, their careers are on the line and/or because they trust that we will provide them with a high performance and energy team of experienced "guns" who know their business.
We aren't cheap but we are not as expensive as some of the classic consulting companies such as IBM, Accenture, BearingPoint, KPMG etc. Basically we provide similar services to clients without the large overhead and expense many of these world wide management consulting and system integration corporations do.
