Sayulita is a small town in Mexico. It was a small beach town for a long time and was "discovered" in the 60's by surfers from the USA. Since then it has grown in population with a happy blend of laid back surfers more affluent vacation home owners and of course the locals. But still has a pueblo feel with cobble stone streets ( some still dirt ) and small cafe's, restaurants that line the main street and on the beach. Everyone one that visits falls in love with the "vibe"' of the place.
So the logo should fit that dynamic. Old town with young spirit, sunny, fun, beach, south of the border, colorful and a little sophisticated.
We will be needing, beer labels, coasters, merchandise later. So the design and designer feel will have to carry through those later projects as well.
A strong font that will become recognized as the brand is needed in the logo. But is not the whole logo.
Pyramid, Leffe and Mexicali are the logos that we like the most from the sample brewery logos below. But all are good.
Sayulita is synonymous with surfing. So integrating that in the design would be valuable. But its not an absolute must have.
