We are looking for a more decidedly vintage logo, that exemplifies authenticity and quality, and with an industrial 1920-1940, brick and beam tone. The logo should have a simple and relatively clean feel to it, but I am a fan of the "textured stamp" look that the "Bootcamp" example logo displays, as well as the canvas cloth that the "Hope Revolution" logo has as well. Secondly, I do like the letter-press ribbon graphic for the "Tea House" part, but feel free to incorporate a ribbon into other aspects of the logo. The "Speakeasy" logo has an excellent curve to the name that could be explored as well.
COLOUR SCHEME: Looking for a simple two tone colour scheme, with the TEA in STEAM being the green colour that really stands out. The other surrounding letters can be black, or a dark grey that lots of vintage looks are known for. It is up to you if there is somewhere you would like to put a copper red tone for a highlight, but it should act as only as a highlight.
CONCEPT IDEA: I would like to keep it simple, but please feel free to explore the concept of having the TEA lettering in STEAM shimmering with rising heat waves or steam. The "Tea House" underneath STEAM could be encapsulated in a small cup, and the TEA is shimmering as a result of the rising heat/steam from the hot tea within the cup.
Thank-you in advance for all the contributions, and I will be here to give any feedback at all times! :)
