This logo is for a mock cyber warfare event. The Kansas City FBI InfraGard program is hosting a two day cyber event which pits systems and security professionals from the community against each other in a live cyber attack on a replicated commercial network. This event will specifically focus on managing and protecting this existing “commercial” network infrastructure from a live cyber attack. Since the exercise network is hosted on a private managed network that is not on the Internet, production data and systems are not at risk.
Here is the copy for the event:
Organizations both foreign and domestic are increasingly spending on information security. With certified personnel, well written policies, and the latest in technology, we often check a box and consider ourselves safe. However, how secure are we really? Will polices and our incident response plans hold up? Will our people use them? How will we hold up against a real attack?
Not only will participants get a chance to test their knowledge and preparedness for securing an operational environment while under a real attack, they will also get the opportunity to see how other teams handled similar circumstances. This provides real world data and a solid understanding of best practices that can be implemented in their own organizations. At the end of the exercise organizations will know the strengths and weaknesses of their people, processes, policies and technology.
This is extremely valuable exercise will provide outreach and an education opportunity for our community taking home a greater understanding on how they should be protecting their networks. This exercise also provides a unique opportunity to build the relationships with law enforcement should they need to respond to and report cybercrime.
Extremely technical, Government Agencies, Technical Private Teams, hackers
Looking for a very "official" looking logo, with a government type feel, with some hints of "evilness" maybe some team vs. team, with a very cyber looking theme
