We want to re-brand the 'parent' WildHearts Group logo.
Specifics about the logo:
The winner will also likely be commissioned to redesign the sub-brands of the WildHearts Group.
We want the word to be powerful enough that it can be used by itself. Therefore, we are looking for a unique font to be used in your design. Feel free to tweak an existing font - bearing in mind that we want the word to be usable as a standalone logo in itself and we don’t want that to be easily replicated by anyone who has access to general fonts out there.
NOTE: We would also like to have a version with a heart incorporated in the logo and also be able to use the heart on its own such as on pin badges or email signatures. For example, Barclays have an eagle logo which can be used with or without their Barclays word logo. Please see attached email signature of where we have used our heart without the word WildHearts.
An example of what we like style-wise is BlackRock's logo (attached). Another example of what we are looking for is Virgin, but not in a design sense. The Virgin logo can be used in its own right but is also used across their company portfolio. The parent Virgin logo lends itself to its other companies i.e. Virgin Megastore, Virgin Trains, Virgin Mobile, etc. We would like our brands to have their own identities whilst obviously still being part of the same brand family and shared vision. In short, the logo must be able to lend itself to the WildHearts companies.
We feel our current heart design is a little too detailed for how we want to use it, but we do like it. Please bear this in mind when re-designing the heart but make sure not to submit generic looking hearts. Also, geometric looking designs is no the angle we are looking to take with our logo.
Logo must be provided in four colours - colour, grey, black and white. We require all vector files for the logo, Illustrator and EPS, as well as JPGs, PNGs and PDFs.
To summarise, in the final handover we are looking for these variations of the winning logo:

Heart by itself
Additionally, we would like a version with a slogan, but will wait until the second round of designs to incorporate a version with the slogan 'Business for Good'.

The existing brand ‘family’ has served WildHearts well to this point. However, as we continue to expand we feel that a refresh/evolution may be necessary to ensure it is fit for purpose.
Our ‘Parent’ WildHearts logo that includes the motto ‘Business for Good’, expresses who we are; ‘compassionate, entrepreneurial, global’ but does not lend itself to reproduction on multiple platforms as well as merchandise, clothing, warehouse, van signage, packaging etc.
