I would love to see an ice cream scoop in the logo, but am not 100% certain that is the direction we want to go in. We won't really be selling cones so I would like to stay away from an actual ice cream cone if possible. A bowl of ice cream or even a scoop of ice cream would be fine. You don't have to even use an ice cream graphic. The inside will be modern with lots of white. White subway tiles. We want to maybe have pops of mint green / aqua throughout the store, but are open to other color schemes as well. We also really like just the simple black and white, but think we probably need to incorporate some color into the logo. We want the name Scooped to really stand out. That should be the main focus. We want to cater to teens / college students, and adults at the same time as geared to kids, but kids won't be our primary focus. We like Chipotle's branding, and would like to have a similar feel.
*** after seeing some deisgns here is some more info on what we like / don't like.
* We want the words Scooped to be the main focus, and the first thing you see.
* We really like the nitrogen creamery tagline to be below Scooped.
* A lot of the Scoops of ice cream almost look "kiddish". We prefer a "real" looking scoop of ice cream and I think we would prefer it not to drip. We aren't opposed to seeing some designs without a scoop at all, and maybe just the words. We know for sure we don't want an ice cream cone since we won't be serving cones. We will be serving the ice cream in cups.
We definitely prefer a more simpler and sophisticated look. We don't want the fonts to be overly "bubbly" either.
