Due to my lack of creativity, I need help designing the logo which will be used primarily as the cover art for the podcast...as well as on the website, etc. The end product will need to meet the iTunes standards for podcasts which includes the following:
1. Artwork must be in the JPEG or PNG file formats and in the RGB color space with a minimum size of 1400 x 1400 pixels and a maximum size of 3000 x 3000 pixels at 72 DPI.
2. Must be readable/recognizable at smaller sizes of an app icon (120 x 120)
As far as the design, I'm definitely open for suggestions since designing isn't my area of expertise. I do prefer simplicity, and lean towards the more modern and geometric logos, etc., but I'm definitely open for suggestions.
The following are two generic ideas I initially had that might help you understand what I was visualizing:
1. My favorite podcast cover art is Song Exploder's cover. I love the simplicity of the single letter, but yet find it still grabs the customer's attention. So some graphic with the letter "N" might be a good start. Since it's a music podcast, incorporating music notes/symbols would be really neat. I've attached two examples I found online that I really liked that shows this concept (without the heart symbols). Overall, my original idea was to have a base "N" that somehow transforms into a collage of musical notes. Hope that makes sense.
2. Playing along with the music theme, any logo with vinyl or a record player would be neat. Again...nothing cartoony and no photos. But perhaps a modern/sophisticated play on vinyl would be appropriate. And perhaps you can incorporate a letter "N" as well. I'm definitely open for suggestions.
As far as colors, I'm pretty open. Plus...if I like a design but want a different color...I imagine that'll be an easy fix during the final rounds.
Hopefully that helps give you an idea of what I was envisioning in my head. Once again, I'm definitely not very creative...and I have no idea how complicated these ideas are to implement. But I will definitely share my thoughts on designs submitted and will answer any questions y'all might have. I truly appreciate you helping me put this idea into a design. Thank you.
