Think OPULENCE. When all is said and done I want the legacy of this company to be the Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati of the Action film genre. My logo/symbol must convey that attitude and feeling to people. It’s a symbol more than a logo. A symbol which will be synonymous with excellence. With craftsmanship. With success. When you think ASV you know you’re in for a treat. It’ll look good on a keychain, a hat, shirt, business card, office lobby and a plane.
I really like how some of you are showing me 3D images of the logo and what it would look like on a business card!!! Definitely helps me make up my mind!! Also please try to incorporate a metallic/stainless steel looking version in your designs. Thanks!!!
First want to say I LOVE the idea of the letters "ASV" being connected to each other (possibly as one flowing line without the horizontal slash through the "A") and making it feel very Sci-Fi or even retro sci-fi like Blade Runner but not a rip off or cheesy. Slick and modern. I am also intrigued by the idea of the letters "ASV" combined to create a strong figure/symbol of some sort (like the "Sarah Bashford, INC" logo in the examples above). Just some random ideas. Not necessarily what my mind is set on so if you think you have something better to show me, I'm ready to be dazzled :-)
ASV stands for "Adem Suljic Visuals". I don’t necessarily want that spelled out. I prefer the abbreviation “ASV” and leave it a mystery to people :-) . I make Action movies but ultimately I want my logo, and brand to evoke a sense of unparalleled quality. Kind of like when you're watching a movie, and see the Warner Bros or any other major studio logo (or when I see Ridley Scott's, "Scott Free" abstract logo) in the beginning of a movie, you KNOW it's bound to deliver a relatively positive/enjoyable experience in some form or fashion. My job is to make great films which will condition an audience to have that feeling. Your job is to make a kick ass, memorable, timeless logo which will echo the quality of my films, and further entrench that feeling of joy they should have when getting ready to watch one of my movies. My films will be predominantly in the Action genre for the first 10-15 years of my career, but I need the logo to represent more than just Action movies. It must represent elegance, quality, grace, excellence and opulence in craftsmanship. I aspire to create movies with a soul. Incredible stories, well told, which happen to be in the action genre. The goal is to have people smile when they see our logo printed on the side of their Blu-Ray case not only because the logo is so damn sexy, but also because they love the movie they're about to watch :-)
