We started a new company (a university spin-off) called Dutch Institute for Personal Development (translated). It represents a new vision of personal development that bridges the gap between timeless philosophical knowledge on the one hand and modern psychological science on the other. Our postgraduate course offers scientifically based insights and tools to professionals (like coaches, HR, happiness officers, teachers) in the field of personal development. It enables the professional to put together tailor-made methods and tools for more effectiveness and results. We believe in a better and more meaningful life through increased self-awareness and evidence-based development.

We will focus on the top end of the personal development market. The logo must radiate authority and give it a university vibe, but then not too stiff or antique, more like modern universities. The brand needs to forget markers of antiquity, and express the values which make the old relevant in modern times. Our approach is not vague, but evidence based. More like; what does or doesn't work (the facts), but also empathetic and not judging others or other schools of thought. Some of our core values: Authority, Wisdom, Trust, High-end, Science, Timeless but future-oriented, Effectiveness, Impact, Connection, Universal. What is also important is that we would like to find meaning in our logo. So it would be nice if there's a deeper meaning to be found in symbols used, or an explanation of the elements in the logo. In the attachment you will find existing logo's and symbols that can be used as inspiration (so not required). The full name of our institute is: "Nederlands Instituut voor Persoonlijke Ontwikkeling" abbreviated as NIPO. You may use the full or abbreviated name in the logo.
