We want the words Mari Voiles to emanate energy, passion, aliveness, and vigor. Make it loud, colorful, and vibrant. Have fun with it, and be creatively expressive. The more ideas, the better.

You do not have to use ALL of the colors suggested (or any), those are just recommended guidelines.

We are looking for BOTH a cute cartoon avatar (Chibi style) and a logo of the words "Mari Voiles" - however, you do not need to submit both in order to qualify as a winner. A cartoon character is OPTIONAL.

Your chances of winning are just more likely if you submit both.

Ideally, the two can be combined and compliment each other but can also be used separately.

The cartoon avatar adds an element of playfulness to the logo that is otherwise professional and creative, possibly even sleek and serious.

Stylistically, you can model the cartoon after the attached images (pay particular attention to the drummer with the drum sticks) - but we are open to many different styles of cartoons. Just make sure the cartoon character is feminine and has pink hair.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Upon winning the contest, we ask for the art in a vector format such as that produced by Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator so that we can resize it to whatever desired without loss of quality.

Know that this logo will be featured all over iTunes, on television, on T-shirts, stickers, wallets, etc. - This will be an excellent addition to your portfolio, and the winner will be invited to design further artwork and concepts (for Facebook cover design, social media bio, etc.).

Your art will also be featured alongside artist John Langdon (The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons fame) - which will highly contribute to your own credibility.
