● Stylistic preferences: We want something stripped down to its essence simple and visually stimulating. We love creative uses of negative space. We'd love some creative, witty ideas that convey the idea of a "dark room" within the logo image, letters or words themselves and ideally using the negative space of the words. No bubble letters, nothing cartoonish. We're also into dimension as we create 3D, interactive and virtual content in addition to more traditional digital content. Even though we're a media company please do not give us a camera or a strip of film.

We are Dark Room Productions, but our site is DRP.TV. We are open to
logos that say the DRP initials in the logo image and spell out "Dark
Room Productions" below (a la early HBO logo - but please don't just
copy that look and put our letters in it). We are also open to,
simply, "Dark Room". Our CEO thinks very much in terms of motion
graphics so we'd love a logo that lends itself to being animated
before our videos (and ultimately films) that really allows us to
grow and morph. The logo should also look great on a hat or shirt or
mug. Since a dark room is traditionally a place where photography is
processed we also want to differentiate that we are NOT a photography
company but a film company (this is one of the reasons we’re
avoiding red). Think dark/light. Infinite possibilities.
