Engaging Logo Needed for Independent Contractor

I'm a technologist who loves discovering the business value in what new and emerging technologies can provide.

I have a wealth of experience from "the enterprise" and have more recently re-kindled my love of web technologies and am starting to offer my own consultancy and implementation services for building websites amongst other things.

My potential customers! Therefore, I'm looking for a great professional logo to represent me.

My clients will be looking for a professional and respectable individual who they can trust and know understands the business landscape that they operate within.

I would like a logo that represents my main brand asset, my forthcoming website - dannybaggs.com.

Although it sounds bland, I'm keen for a professional logo that shows qualities that conveys a message of competence and professionalism. I'm also keen to show that I deal with cutting edge technologies and keep myself up to date so I am happy to "experiment" with how this can also be conveyed in the logo.

Most important however, is that the logo should convey trust and dependability and not come across "techie" or "geeky".

I would like to see options of a simple dannybaggs.com (without www) featured within the logo and potentially an option with a tag line also. The tag line itself I haven't decided but it would be nice to see how an approx 80 character piece of text would look like next to the logo.

I'm only to keen to engage with you designers and provide educated critique and feedback.
