In terms of the specific design task, we want our brand’s visual identity to communicate the following elements:
• Primary elements → Creative, fun, light hearted, slightly quirky and a little nuts!
• Secondary elements → Rustic, hand-made, gourmet
• Tertiary elements (out of scope for brand design and will be activated through packaging) → Fresh, authentic, burst of flavours, delicious
We are open to exploring several different design styles, however we envisage incorporating some kind of visual element, which is creative, clever and subtle. This visual element is intended to humanise the brand by adding a unique personality, and potentially become an icon to represent the brand. This is where we’re really seeking your creativity and originality – so what we include and how we include it is totally up to you!!
In doing so, we want to create a really clean, fresh and original look - one that engages and inspires. Care must be taken to ensure that the brand doesn't come across as cheesy or childish in the process.
I have attached a compilation of brands which can hopefully serve as inspiration and give some sense of the type of look, feel and tonality we’re after. Again, these are examples only – so would love you to use your original imagination and creativity.
