We are a start-up forensic accounting firm, looking to enter the insurance industry. We are attempting to penetrate a market that our competitors have already built great relationships in. As a result, we are looking to shake up the industry just a little to get noticed. Our logo and branding are just the start.
Our intention is to offer our services in a way that our competition does not, including a phased approach to investigations, and utilitizing technology to a greater extent. We will have a very customer focused service offering, and emphasis the cooperation of all parties in the process.
Our team is composed of experts with years of experience, knowledge and relationships in this field. We are a very diverse group of individuals, who will use that as a strength in delivering our services.
Further we intend to be a communication portal for individuals in the industry to share their thoughts, hear those of others, and receive educational tools and resources.
As this is a professional services firm, our logo has to be respectible, but cutting edge and noticeable.
The ADS of ADS Forensics stands for A Different Solution...this will be our tag line.
Our clients consist of insurance companies (large and small), adjusting firms and legal firms. All professional service firms themselves. Our branding has to respect the nature of our clients.
As forensic accountants, we are required to analyze financial information, quantify damages on behalf of our clients, and present a written report. Forensic accounting is the specialty practice area of accountancy
that describes engagements that result from actual or anticipated
disputes or litigation. "Forensic" means "suitable for use in a court
of law", and it is to that standard and potential outcome that
forensic accountants generally have to work
1. Logo, business card and letterhead design.
We would like the ADS to standout from the rest, but Forensics must be noticed. The tagline should be used on the business card, and we look for options as to whether it can be incorporated into the logo...although this is not a requirement. The tagline should not appear on the letter head.
Simple is good. We want something that can stand alone on a clean, all-white, documents (business card, letterhead, website, etc.). Graphic images (gavel, magnifying glass, etc) may or may not be appropriate...lets see what you have.
2. Assistance with the final determination of our identity.
3. Color Palette (including RGB, etc.) - help us determine a color scheme that fits with our brand identity. Should be able to be easily incorporated across multiple digital and print media in both color and black/white. It should standout, but be respectible for our client base.
4. Files required are .jpg, .tif, eps, .png, and layered .psd
5. No cartoons, stock images or clip art, no hooky accounting images.
There will likely be an opportunity for the winning designer to do additional work for website incorporation, etc.
