My First Home : Web logo needed for advice site

My First Home

My First Home (previously First Time Buyer) is a website that will take users through all the advice required when buying a new house.

Users of the website can sign up to a check list management system that will make sure they have covered everything, and have access to the best advice and deals.

A predominately an online UK audience for first time buyers, so that's generally 20-35 years old.

They will be looking for a friendly, up to date website they can trust.

NOTE : THE BRAND NAME HAS CHANGED TO 'MY FIRST HOME'

The logo should be of high quality, friendly (but not cartoon) and contain strong branding elements which can be later applied to the new website design.

So strong unique colours and font style is important. In this instance, the logo is the start of the brand identity.

If it captures the essence of a 'home', and it works well - that'll be great although not a definite requirement.

Visitors will want to feel warm and good about the fact they are settling down and purchasing their first property, so the the site (firstly the logo) needs to be reflect this feeling -

The brand : independent, honest, money saving, friendly, helpful, useful advice, hand holding.

Ideas rather than typography is what's needed here - as the logo is the start of a brand that needs to be recognisable.

The Brand name may need to be turned into a URL, so the option of a .info the end.

The option of the logo saying 'myfirsthome.info' as well as My First Home need to be considered - I'd like to see both options to see which one works best.

The logo should also contain the strap line 'Independent, honest and money saving advice - all under one roof'.

Final delivery will be layered PSD / Illustrator file.

PSDs to remain vector where possible.
