Jumpstart Talking – We get your kids to talk. This is a new program that brings together art, play, education and speech language pathology to develop the communication skills of late talking toddlers (2-3 years old).
In some respects it is an alternative to preschool for parents who don’t want to worry about their late talker getting lost in the shuffle. We use small groups as opposed to the large groups you see with preschools. We use licensed speech language pathologists as opposed to teachers. We use a longer session that utilizes various types of fun and engaging activities as opposed to the typical sterile activities found in most therapeutic approaches.
This program is going to be part of an existing practice. Overall the practice is seen as being prestigious yet fun. The therapists are seen as being the experts at what they do. They are also seen as having an uncanny knack for engaging children and getting them to make progress.
Part of the philosophy is that parents should not wait and see if their child is going to grow out of a communication delay. They also need to put their child in situations that will enrich their lives and give them the best chance to succeed.

Generally speaking this needs to appeal to affluent parents of 2-3 year old late talking children. More specifically it needs to appeal to the mom. She is concerned about her child’s development. She wants him to talk like the other kids. She doesn’t want to put her child in a program where he’ll get lost in the shuffle. She doesn’t want her child to feel left out. She want's something to help her child that will also be fun.
Files need to be compatible with adobe CS5 for windows. I need one to be vector and all to be in formats that can edit if needed. I prefer original artwork that does not require me paying licensing rights to a third party.
Also, I try to give a lot of feedback. I will try to let you know what I do and don't like. If you have not heard from me and you're still in the contest it is because I haven't thought of anything helpful to say yet.
I'm not a big fan of using the star ratings, especially if I haven't given you any feedback. I don't like the star ratings because I find designers with designs that have a lot of potential drop out without giving their design time to develop fully. So please bear with me if I don't star your design. Again, I'll try to give you helpful comments.
Please feel free to ask questions.
