I will try to be very active and hands on with feedback regarding the designs submitted.
For the first round, I'm simply looking for broad level design elements like, shape, layout, creativity, etc. I recommend submitting lots of different designs. Even if I indicate that one of your submissions is good enough to compete in the next round, I would encourage you to continue to explore in the first round.
Eliminated: Pretty self explanatory.
One star: Its not what I'm looking for, but it has at least one element that I like. I'll try to leave feedback regarding the element that I like.
Two stars: Shows promise, and I'll try to provide feedback to help you get closer.
Three stars: You're getting close, but it needs some more work.
Four stars: I like it! With a little work it could be a winner.
Five stars: Brilliant! Amazing! I love it!
LOGO DESCRIPTION & VISION FOR FINAL RESULT
I would like the logo to evoke feelings of the epic stories of old. A promise to transport the audience to realms of fantasy and wonder. It should feel worn/aged, but enduring with a touch of elegance.
I'm leaning towards a celtic / trajan feel to the font used, but feel free to explore. The logo should be mostly text; however, I'm not opposed to other elements if they help communicate the design; however, any additional element MUST be incorporated into the text itself. I don't want separate elements from the text. Additionally, the logo should look photo-realistic and 3D (as apposed to flat and simplified).
Extra points if the font is custom designed and unique to the logo.
I added some sketches that I did, but they don't necessarily need to influence the design you come up with. Note: I drew the word as two separate words, but I'm open to the logo being a single word (i.e. Legendworks).
I really want you to be successful, so please feel free to PM me if you have any questions. I'll try my best to be open, timely, and easy to communicate with; however, I do have other responsibilities, so expect a few hours delay sometimes.
