United States Commercial Trade Contractors Association
This contest is for a new logo and web banner. The banner must include both the logo and our tag line.
We have an existing online membership club that teaches construction contractors how to grow their business. Contractors pay a monthly fee to access "how-to" content. Please familiarize yourself with the site at http://www.filthyrichcontractor.com.
We are re-branding the site as an association named United States Commercial Trade Contractors Association. “USCTCA.COM”
The winning designer will be strongly considered for designing the remaining graphic work needed to finish the website. Future opportunities will be arranged by separate agreement between designer and The Possible Dream, LLC.
Contractors who build and service commercial buildings, specifically those that have employees who perform work in the field.
This includes painters, electricians, plumbing, HVAC, carpenters, pipe fitters, masons, etc. The core group does not focus on residential projects!
Please visit http://www.usconcealedcarry.com for an example of the look and feel we are shooting for however; do not duplicate the exact design scheme.
The United States part isn't that important. The CTCA part is. Our tag line is “Uniting To Share Best Practices and Overcome Industry Challenges” This MUST stand out.
We have been considering a red, white, and blue patriotic color scheme. The logo must be able to stand alone away from the banner and the tag line. Again, the banner must include the logo and tag line.
Banner size to be 950 pixels by 139 pixels.
This new logo and web banner must look as though they were professionally designed. We have learned through feedback that our current url and banner have undermined the current site’s credibility.
Therefore the logo and banner must reassure first time visitors that the content inside the pay-site, and the association as a whole, are legitimate and credible and worth investigating.
We are open to fresh ideas. Please keep in mind that our target audience is pro-American and conservative which is why we are leaning to the red-white-blue color scheme. Hence the American flag.
We will be using the winner’s color scheme as the basis for the remainder of the site including navigation buttons and headers.
The stand alone logo design shall be on a white background unless otherwise directed.
Please provide the logo and banner as EPS and PSD file formats. We require all ownership, trademarks, and copyrights (US, international and World Wide) and the right to change colors.
