The Bush Chicken

The Bush Chicken, a newly founded high-quality media outlet dedicated to reporting in-depth news and analysis on Liberia's current events, development, and state of affairs. The name is inspired by both the inclusive coverage of rural communities and the idea that the outlet will serve as a wake-up call to important issues.

Our outlet came about as a response to problems we identified within most of Liberia’s existing written media outlets. There is very little financial and skills investment in the reporters; consequentially, articles are published at the expense of grammar, proper research, and objectivity. Furthermore, news from rural areas is hardly addressed.

The Bush Chicken will produce properly researched and well-written news articles. We will invest in aspiring journalists by offering skills training workshops, as well as good pay. In addition, we will amplify news from rural areas.

It should include an image of a rooster, abstract or realistic. It should be a logo that also functions as a banner. The color scheme will be red, white and black, using the colors of the attached image.
