I LOVE the use of negative space. That would be my dream logo. Here are examples of the kind that I love:
I would like to use the logo as an edible emblem on my cupcakes which means it should still be legible when small. When small I mean no smaller that the size of a circular wax seal.
I would like the logo to look good on a circular background so not too square-like in shape.
Also I thought it would be helpful to provide some adjectives that describe my brand:

UPDATED: Thank you so much for your submissions. I have added more pictures that inspire me to the Sample Logos section. This is more the colour scheme that I wish for. Also I added the Laduree logo which is what I consider regal and luxury..I am really trying to be as specific as possible to get closer to my logo.

UPDATED 3: One final direction to investigate you amazing designers! In the Sample Logos section I added a design prototype (black in colour, looks like a bitten cupcake with a cherry on top) that one of my best friends developed over two years ago. She did it in a few minutes using Paint..My request to you: Could you have a try at refining this design?? Making it more beautiful and elegant..
