This service will be used by 30-45 year olds (who are quite tech-savvy) for their 55-90 year old parents/grandparents. They probably live a distance away from their family, hence why this kind of remote healthcare monitoring is necessary. They hope that this will enable them to "care" more for their family.
HealthVault.com is aimed at a young and sophisticated market, Doctor@Home is a budget version - a much more basic and simple (and inexpensive) service - however it should should not look "budget". It should give the idea of something uncomplicated, yet intuitive. (ie HealthVault is made by Microsoft and thus it looks cluttered and complicated - Doctor@Home should have the simplicity and elegance of apple software Apple).
I don't think the logo will have a medical device in it. You're welcome to prove me wrong, but I think it's more about caring than about technology.
