Specializing in white-hat search engine optimization (SEO), Springboard SEO pulls from all diciplines of the Internet marketing lanscape in order to satisfy its clients: those who are looking for increased web visibility and greater profits.
Springboard SEO now has on-board a few more talented individuals with respected names in the industry. This will be, in many ways a new beginning for several key figures in digital marketing.
About our brand:
We consider search engine optimization to be the *springboard* that propels businesses the farthest into the online arena for longterm search visibility.
Included with this brief is a basic mockup of the site's upcoming design. See attachment. The current live site is not a good indicator of our brand--it is online as a temporary solution as the site continues to gain search engine exposure.
***Please read the requirements section below***
Constant feedback will be provided as the contest progresses.
Our target audience consists mostly of medium-sized businesses to large corporations in search of Internet marketing solutions--search engine optimization specifically.
We will, however, be offering design and brand identity to clients, as well as other, common web development solutions, but our main clientèle will be corporations looking for superior web visibility solutions.
Think corporate, clever, original, with a subtle sense of energy and direction. A subtle hint of search engine visibility would be nice as well.
Rising stats do play an important role in SEO, so a combination of springboard (or direction) and a bar graph is one idea we're fond of.
Remember:We're not selling springs or diving boards. Hinting at a springboard effect can be more effective than an illustration of any type of spring!
Preference will be given to logos that are a clever combination of text and image based; however, the logo must have a design that can easily be recognizable without the "SpringboardSEO" text that it will have in the header of the web site.
Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo.
We want simple and clean designs, nothing web 2.0. ie no strong gradients or shadows typical of 2.0 designs.
Must be relevant to our mission and product, as described above.
Must be color based with a professional, corporate color scheme, but must also be usable in black and white.
Simple is better.
Must be submitted in a common vector-based format (e.g. a native Illustrator file).
Thanks in advance to all of you, and again, we'll be paying close attention to this contest, and our feedback will reflect this. Let the games begin!
