A kiosk selling "Shawerma" (Gyros) Sandwiches and juice. Our first kiosk will be placed Outside an entrance of a mall in Cairo,Egypt. We are trying to get more locations in universities, social clubs and business parks. Sandwiches will have a scoop of Tahini sauce, some diced onions and tomatoes, pieces of shaved meat/chicken, rolled up in a pita/tortilla or placed in a bun/sub. Click on the link below for more info about Shawerma http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shawarma
The meat is not commonly prepared in strips like American gyros, but chopped into smaller chunks and usually served with tahini sauce. As commonly practiced in the early 1900s, a finely sharpened fillet knives is used to shave the meat/chicken. We are also planning to sell fresh juices from the kiosk, mainly orange and mango juice.
There are many shawerma places in Cairo, however, we are trying to give a different image than the traditional shawerma stand you will find at the local markets. Hygiene and cleanliness is our top priority. Good quality meat that tastes delicious and served passionately but fast, is the message we want to take across to our clients. In the 1st location we will have a huge business park , located about a mile away from the mall, we are planning to deliver to customers who will call in and put an order. This could be up to 50% of our business. Motorcycle delivery is very common in Cairo and we want to capitalize on that.
We want a logo that will make customers excited. However, excitement that is full of care and passion. We care, we are here to serve, and if in the process we make little money that will be great too. This is the kind of message we want the customers to feel. In terms of pricing we embrace the motto "the More you sell for Less, the more you make"
A logo that will be multicultural. That pushes the brand "Shawerma'way"
A clear, simple and bold TYPEFACE, that could be translated to different foreign languages characters.
(If any one could incorporate an Arabic version in the same logo, it will be fascinating. However NOT REQUIRED at all, as we are planning to hire someone local to do that incorporation once we have a logo in English)
Please feel free to experiment and be creative as you want
The files we will require are print file formats and web file formats
IN THE ONE LOGO FILE THAT HAS TWO LANGUAGES, IT IS MISSING ONE ARABIC CHARACTER BEFORE THE LAST. (THERE ARE ONLY TWO WITH YELLOW COLOR, WITH THE RIGHT SPELLING IT SHOULD BE THREE)
PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE to ASK us any questions. We want to work with all of you. Best of luck to all of us. We are awaiting your creative work. Thanks
