Floopy's
From the creators of Nooby's Disposable Dog Booties, we are Floopy's (floopys.com -- launching by year's end) - makers of several disposable pet-related products which we'll bring to market by the end of 2009.
We're a handful of web-savvy, pet-loving, cutting-edge entrepreneur types who plan on revolutionizing the way people dress and protect their pets with a line of disposable, green, recyclable clothing to enhance the overall experience for pet owners.
Our target audience varies. We'll have our share of cutting-edge young folks with pets, hipsters with pets, soccer moms with pets, grandmas with pets, celebrities with pets, jocks with pets, men's men with pets -- our products are designed for all pet owners. We need to reach everybody.
Regarding our brand... we believe that our logo and brand are extremely important. We've done our research in the pet product industry and there's not too much out there which has *wowed* us. A lot of sterile logos. Some were way too anticeptic - others way too over-the-top cutesy. We're looking for that middle ground. Memorable. Classy. Bold. Fun-loving. All of the above.
There have been a few logos we've seen that stuck out -- a few examples are BugCo. (ebugco.com) and our old logo, Nooby's (noobys.com). In both cases the logo is strong/bold, but 'cutesy' enough for the pet industry. We also like how an animal was worked into the logo - the bug in BugCo and the pooch in Nooby's, which are disposable dog booties.
With Floopy's, we're a company that will sell disposable pet related products - from a disposable doggie raincoat to t-shirt pets can wear out of the vet office. For every product in this line, the key word is "protection" or "shielding" from the elements.
As we've discussed this potential logo amongst ourselves, we envisioned some sort of tarp or something above the logo, protecting it from the elements. Again, it's just a concept that we'd like a designer to keep in mind while working on this. We absolutely welcome your creativity as we're not the artists here. Do what you do best!
**Regarding color scheme we were thinking a sky blue/brown combination... but we're open to ideas.
