We want this logo to complement our company's existing logo ("New RM logo small" that is attached). This logo is not intended to replace our existing logo. This new logo is going to be used in a few different ways.
1. We're creating a military-to-civilian recruiting niche conference where we will have 100-150 HR leaders from leading companies attend and learn about recruiting military veterans effectively.
2. At this conference, we will be presenting the "We Recruit Military" awards brought to you by the American Legion and RecruitMilitary. We want this new logo to be a focal point for this award.
3. This new logo has application for posters that will also be used to attract military veterans who are seeking new careers.
4. This logo will be used in marketing campaigns to communicate the collective of our company and our client companies recruiting U.S. military veterans.
The GIJobs image attached to this brief is a competitor's logo utilized in their awards program. It has become a known brand, and that's what we want this new logo to grow toward.
The attached sketch, "We RecruitMilitary Sketch", is an example of an attempt at trying to convey the transition someone makes as they depart military service and seek employment in the civilian work force. We would like this logo to convey in some way this transition. The incorporation of our "M" from our main logo is something we have been thinking about as a way to tie back to our main RecruitMilitary brand.
We are unsure about whether we want a slogan incorporated into the logo, but in the sketch, you will see one at the bottom. If we were, it would likely be "Veteran Friendly Employer".
