Pareto Energy Management
Pareto Energy Management is a consultancy firm that promotes high rate of return conservation projects within the ICI sector (industrial, commercial, institutional).
Our network approached shares successful projects with all members of the network encouraging word of mouth growth.
Industry contractors with solutions to wasteful systems or building components can see how frequently a specific system appears in our network without seeing our client facilities. This will encourage 3rd party innovators to find solutions to widespread systematic deficiencies.
We are very much a 'green' firm, but our focus is on profits, not polar bears. We're here to make environmental awareness profitable for businesses and governmental agencies.
Our organization will foster collaboration, open sharing of good ideas, and respect for clients and contractors.
Pareto is a concept that says that 80% of your outputs come from 20% of your inputs. This is fitting for our networked approach for energy management.
Also, pareto efficiency occurs when economic changes are made and no one is made worse off (i.e. an arena chages lighting systems, they save money, kids see the puck better, and contractors make sales).
If you'd like a better understanding of that concept check:
Our target market includes ICI decision makers - especially in the public sector (municipalities, school boards, etc.), as well as 3rd party contractors. We are developing a B2B business plan.
Professionalism is a fundamental tenant of our organization, as is respecting the privacy and security of client information.
We want to be the answer to the question our clients hear of "What are you doing to reduce your environmental impact?".
The logo should be iconic and simple.
I had been thinking flat, noodle like waves forming the letter "P" in a diamond, and have been favoring blues and blue grey. Or, for Zoolander fans - blue steel!
It definitely should be ridiculously good looking!
Professional, secure, networked, collaborative, environmental ... are all concepts this business will be built on, and want a brand image that represents that.
PEM as an acronym for Pareto Energy Management is OK.
This logo will be the basis for design cues for the overall website (which will begin just as a blog until the database is built) so a style sheet with defined primary colors used will be required.
I think that about sums it up.
Good luck, and ask questions!
