Inspiration logo - Tonya Leigh's at http://www.tonyaleigh.com
I like the feel of the way Tonya's little lady crosses through all her branding. I want a woman that does that with Mommy Gets A Life. I"m thinking Silhouette and here are a few inspirations from istockphoto. In my head I'm thinking silhouette of woman in tub with glass of wine:
I like this one because of the silhouette feel and the fact that the wine stands out:

I like the playful feel of this although it is not silhouette:

This is what I thought my "mommy" will look like in the tub in terms of arms and legs popping out - but I don't like the woman herself.

Demographic is moms with children still living at home.
Will need final file in all normal file types - .ai, .eps, .jpg etc.
** I believe I've backed the design into a corner with feedback. The overwhelming response from clients is that I need to lose the tub. I'm sorry for that direction. It was a symbol that was associated often in our discussions with women but is just too limiting in the visual brand. The logo should represent the feel of the brand which is sassy, vibrant, easy, playful and confident. Women will not only be seeking the time to pamper themselves but the time to create a passionate purposeful existence in the midst of motherhood. Taboos around motherhood can be discussed safely and without judgement inside the virtual doors of mommy gets a life. I'd love to see more creative interpretation around this - forget the limitations I put on this earlier including the color palette. Artwork does not need to be literal - in can be symbolic. Focus on conveying brand through typography.**
So far the typography of #11 is the real positive feedback we are receiving.
