Description of the organization and the symposium ‘Tomorrow is today’
The Public Prosecution Service (OM) and the courts together make up the judiciary. The Public Prosecution Service decides who has to appear before a court and on what charge. It is the only body that can decide to prosecute someone. Its field of work is criminal law.
The Public Prosecution Service’s main tasks are:
• investigating criminal offences
• prosecuting offenders
• supervising the enforcement of sentences.
During the hearing, the court listens to what the public prosecutor and the defence attorney have to say, and may itself investigate the defendant’s guilt or innocence. The public prosecutor then recommends an appropriate sentence, after which the court gives judgment. The Public Prosecution Service does not get involved in disputes about dismissals or quarrels between neighbours about, say, overhanging branches. Such matters are dealt with by the civil courts. It only concerns itself with criminal offences, both minor (overtredingen) and serious (misdrijven). (Source: om.nl)

Description of the design
We want to design a logo for the symposium with the title ‘Tomorrow is today’ (Morgen is vandaag) and 3 sub logo’s for the three, mentioned below, themes (horizons).
The symposium informs, inspires and directs the management in a fast changing digital world. What is happening today in the field of renewal and innovation? And what are we waiting for tomorrow? How does the Public Prosecution Service and her chain partners act in the technological developments and what is expected of the management?
The symposium focuses on three sub themes (horizons)
Horizon 1: what is possible today (2017/2018)
Horizon 2: what is possible tomorrow (from 2018 to 2020)
Horizon 3: what is possible in the future (from 2020 and beyond)
The logo(s) are used for announcement, invitations, teasers, banners, on projection screens and other communications means.
We want a logo with the text ‘Morgen is vandaag’. Not too futuristic. Preference for originality and widely used. The energy component must be also expressed in the logo. Energy is needed for the continuous process of keeping faith in the inevitable changes where organizations get involved. Please take into account the colours of the house style.
