I am a physician and food writer. My website http://www.aDoctorsKitchen is devoted to healthy cooking. I am producing an app for iPhone and iPad. The following is the description from the marketing plan:
Trufflehead (TH) is an innovative iPhone and iPad app that is a mobile healthy cookbook, providing multi-media instructional demos, a smart shopping list and extensive reference guides. Through its array of detailed personalizeable supporting material, the app meets beginning and intermediate cooks, ages 20 – 40, at their respective levels of experience, equipment, and cooking repertoire. Its goal is to help them gain greater cooking confidence as they cook their way through 200+ healthy recipes. This confidence enables the user to look at cooking and food, for perhaps the first time, as an empowering experience and a means to self-sufficiency. The benefits of this “food independence” are many, including: better health, saving money, new opportunities for social gatherings such as cooking for friends and family, enhanced self-esteem, and – because “eating in” is environmentally friendly—a sense of contributing to the health of the planet.
The app will have a companion website that will hopefully be the hub of a full-fledged community of Truffleheads.

The target audience is young men and women, ages 20 to 40 but the bull's eye of the target is 22 - 35. They are young professionals, college graduates, mostly urban, living in apartments, mostly single, presumably without children. (The app is not about family or kid-friendly food.) These people have smart phones and buy apps.
Trufflehead logo. I recently ran a design competition for the Trufflehead app icon which I hope can be accessed by designers working on the logo. We want a logo that can stand alone and also work in relation to the icon. Please let me know if you cannot access the winning icon design. I have attached the palette in case it will be useful. We want something that is sophisticated and fun.
