UK Events company needs logo

They need a strong logo to use as the basis for their corporate brand.

We have had ideas around using something based on the UK flag. The client also suggested "light green backgroundwith a deeper green font with darkish blue script - The actual Logo ( UKEvents ) in silver /3D effect ?"
